The SMM A00 aluminum price dropped by 190 yuan/mt to 20,620 yuan/mt compared to the previous trading day. The domestic SMM ADC12 price was lowered by 100 yuan/mt to the range of 20,900-21,100 yuan/mt. In the import market, overseas ADC12 quotations remained firm at above $2,500/mt, and the import window continued to be closed. Today, aluminum prices erased the gains of the previous two days, and the secondary aluminum market generally lowered prices by 100 yuan/mt or remained stable with a wait-and-see approach, with weak market transactions. The supply-demand imbalance in the current secondary aluminum alloy market has not yet eased, and ADC12 prices will continue to face downward pressure.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
